My Mom loves to go with us to see Santa every year with the Grandchildren. Sadly, she’s on Hospice and couldn’t go with us this year. We had the idea to have Santa come to Thanksgiving dinner so Grandma could see the Grandkids with him one last time. I never thought I could find someone with two days notice but I happened upon Papa HoHo and he offered to come. What a blessing he was to my family. He delivered gifts to my Mom (which we wrapped and gave to him ahead of time). He read a book to the children, talked to each one about what they want for Christmas and even prayed with my Mom before he left. He brought her such joy and comfort and the whole family was so blessed by his presence. We will forever be grateful for this precious memory during such a sad time.
